When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, and the service category you've requested. We may also collect your email address and a short description of the work you need done. We do not request, store, or transmit financial information, government identifiers, or other sensitive data.
Your contact information is shared only with the small set of licensed local pros (typically up to three) who match your service category and ZIP code, and who you have explicitly asked us to connect you with. Those pros use your information solely to contact you about your quote request. We do not sell your information to third-party data brokers, marketing networks, or aggregators.
FixMyHome Pro uses standard web analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our directory, which pages perform best, and where users encounter friction. We may also serve advertising via third-party networks (such as Google AdSense) which may use cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising via your browser settings or the network's opt-out controls.
Quote-request information is retained for two years to support follow-up quality assurance and dispute resolution. After that period, we automatically purge personally identifiable information from our systems.
You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing privacy@fixmyhomepro.example. California, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut residents have additional rights under their respective state privacy statutes (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA). We honor all valid consumer rights requests within the timelines required by applicable law.
FixMyHome Pro is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our service, please contact us immediately and we will purge that information.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at the top of this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of FixMyHome Pro after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
